Atlantic Precision Resource

History

Supplying dependability since 1986.

When Ronald J. Kelleher founded Atlantic Precision Rubber as a distributor of rubber and plastic components, he determined the best way to succeed was to help his customers succeed – with customer service they could always depend on.

Dependability became his hallmark. Soon customers were asking him to supply metal parts and to engineer and produce non-standard parts as well.

In 1996, in order to accommodate his customers’ expanding business needs, Ron and his son Brian Kelleher moved APR to a larger, more strategic location in Lynchburg, Virginia. In 2000, APR began sourcing parts in Asia to provide customers with significant cost savings. And in 2004, they changed the name of the company to Atlantic Precision Resource to reflect its expanded capabilities.

Today APR has an office in Shanghai, China, a global  network of reliable component manufacturers, an immense warehouse of parts in Virginia, and a full team of experts in engineering, production, logistics, and supply chain management who serve customers throughout the world.

Because no matter how much we grow, we continue to supply only one thing. Dependability.
